Vietnam Animation Studio is Vietnam's leading state-owned animation studio, founded in 1959 and the flagship of the national animation industry ever since — in 2024 the studio marked its 65th anniversary. It specializes in 2D and 3D animated films, including adaptations of Vietnamese historical legends and folk tales. The studio is a regular winner of the national Cánh diều (Golden Kite) film award and takes part in the Vietnam Film Festival.
